Project Sponsor: Managing Director, Regulated Services Division.
Project: The strategic review of the group business management systems (Commercial, Risk, Quality Assurance, Environmental), processes and procedures. Recommendations to the project steering group the design, development and implementation of a new group business assurance system.
Project deliverable: The submission of a report that provided a solution to deliver greater organisational efficiency and effectiveness acoss the May Gurney (annual turnover £635m) group of companies. The report was signed-off by the project steering group in March 2013. The project sponsor was highly satisfied with the report content and recommendations. This project required identifying and structuring the benefits, the changes required and stakeholder implications and prosucing a first cut business case. The second stage involved planning benefits realisation plan. This required identifying the processes under three perspectives – Doing new things – Doing things better & Stop doing things badly with a view to greater productivity/efficiency within ‘end to end’ processes.
